7 best Vidalytics alternatives in 2026

For VSL sellers who like the playback toolkit and not the bill: a plays meter that counts every muted autoplay, a cap on stored videos, and conversion tracking that starts on Pro.

The short answer

The best Vidalytics alternative for anyone selling with video is TrackPlay. It is the whole system in one account: hosting, a conversion player, the cart sale joined to the viewing session, server-side events to Meta, TikTok and GA4, and analytics that know who bought. It bills on real viewing sessions, so a muted autoplay is never a play. The other six are narrower tools for narrower jobs: vTurb and Voomly are players with a different meter, Spotlightr protects course video, Wistia serves B2B content teams, and SproutVideo and Bunny Stream are hosts.

Every price below was read on the vendor's own pricing page on 12 October 2026.

Vidalytics is the closest thing the VSL market has to a default. It was built for sales video, it names its features in the language media buyers use, and its player does the things a VSL player should do. So the search for a Vidalytics alternative rarely starts with the player. It starts with the invoice, with a plan page that decides which tools you get, or with a conversion number that does not match what the cart says.

Start free: 3,000 plays a month, no card, and put your best VSL on it this week.

Why people look for a Vidalytics alternative

Three reasons come up, and all three are about what happens after the play.

1. The meter counts plays, muted autoplays included, plus a video count

Vidalytics moved from bandwidth to plays in 2026, and every plan now has two limits: how many plays a month, and how many videos you store. Billed monthly, Starter is $24 for 2,000 plays and 5 videos. Pro is $79 for 5,000 plays and 20 videos. Premium is $149 for 15,000 plays and 50 videos. The free plan holds 1,000 plays and 3 videos. Past the plan, each extra play is $0.02 and each extra video $0.25. Billed annually, the same plans are $19, $63 and $119 a month, with the year's plays upfront.

What counts as a play matters more than the price per play. Their help center says every muted autoplay on page load is counted as a play, so a page that autoplays spends plays on every visitor who scrolls past, including the ones who never turn the sound on. The pricing page also says your content "will not be shut off automatically", so a spike does not take the VSL down. It shows up on the bill instead.

Illustration: a gauge with its needle far to the right under a cloud and a bug icon, next to a neat stack of four play pills
A meter that counts every autoplay moves with everything that loads the page. A meter that needs a real press counts viewing sessions.

Muted autoplay is how most VSL pages open, so this is the common case. More than half of all web traffic is automated, per Imperva's Bad Bot Report, and a play that starts on its own does not need a person behind it. A meter that cannot tell a viewer from a page load bills them the same.

2. The plan decides what you can measure

On the Vidalytics pricing grid, Conversions, Heatmaps, Audience Segmentation, Funnel View and Experiments (their A/B testing) all start at Pro. Starter gets Smart Autoplay, Resume Play, Play Gates, and the Google Analytics and Facebook integrations, but not the numbers that say which video sold.

Their help center is not consistent about it either. One article, on creating a conversion script, says conversion tracking is "not available on the Free plan" and to "upgrade to any of our paid plans". Another, on what a conversion is, says it is not available "on the Free plan or the Starter Plan either" and needs "our Pro Plan or above". The pricing grid sides with the second. Budget for Pro if the sale is the number you care about.

3. The conversion is a script on the thank-you page

Vidalytics records a sale with a conversion script that you paste on the page a buyer lands on after checkout. When someone watches, they are tagged "with an e-tag, IP and cookie", and a later visit to the thank-you page is credited to the video they saw. Their docs flag the catch themselves: if several VSLs end on the same confirmation page, conversions are counted twice, and the fix they suggest is a duplicate order confirmation page for each VSL.

That is a browser-side join, made after the fact on a page you have to control. It credits the sale to the video the buyer watched within a conversion window you set, and it depends on the thank-you page loading the script for every buyer. On the integrations page, the ad-platform side is Facebook audiences built from video events and Google Analytics. TikTok is not listed, and a server-side Meta Conversions API is not publicly stated. What Vidalytics does well with the sale once it has it is real: Script Map shows conversions and revenue for each section of your script.

How we picked

We make TrackPlay. It is first because it covers the whole path from the first frame to the order in one system. The rest of the list follows the three reasons above: three more VSL or funnel players a Vidalytics customer would shortlist, and three general hosts for the buyer whose only problem is the bill.

For each tool we read the public pricing page, and the help documentation where a claim needed it, on 29 September 2026, and checked every price again on 12 October 2026. We did not run hands-on tests for this list, and there are no star ratings or scores. Where a vendor does not publicly state a capability, the tables say "Not publicly stated" rather than guessing a no. Prices are in US dollars, before tax. We also checked VooPlayer, a VSL player that used to belong on a list like this: vooplayer.com now redirects to spotlightr.com, so it is covered under Spotlightr.

The 7 best Vidalytics alternatives

1. TrackPlay: best overall for selling with video

TrackPlay is the whole selling-with-video system on one viewer record: hosting, a conversion player, watch-time-to-sale attribution, server-side ad events and analytics that know who bought. Vidalytics customers will recognise the playback toolkit. What changes is everything underneath it. The player injects a session key into your checkout link, your cart posts the sale back from its server, and the order lands on the session that earned it, with the video, the watch depth, the split-test arm and the ad click ids attached. No thank-you page script, no duplicate confirmation pages per VSL, and no plan to upgrade before the sale shows up.

  • Best for: offer owners, affiliates, media buyers and agencies selling with video on Meta, TikTok, Google or native traffic.
  • Billed on: plays. A play is one real viewing session. Muted autoplay and bots are not plays, and the bill never moves because a scraper loaded the stream.

Hosting that protects the pitch. Upload files up to 5 GB. The first frame shows in about half a second with zero layout shift, so the page never jumps while the player loads. Domain lock and content protection (bot, VPN, geo and device rules, and a decoy video for scrapers) keep the VSL on your pages, and the Quality tab shows startup time, buffering and errors per video.

A conversion player.

Attribution that ends at the order.

  • Cart postbacks from ClickBank, BuyGoods, Digistore24, WarriorPlus, JVZoo, Kiwify and ElasticFunnels, plus an affiliate postback mode for BuyGoods, ClickBank, Digistore24 and JVZoo.
  • Click-id capture: 23 parameters across 14 ad platforms and 3 affiliate networks, carried from the ad click to the sale.
  • Server-side Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API and GA4 Measurement Protocol with event-id dedup, and pixels fired from the player at any second or percentage.

Analytics that know who bought.

  • A per-5-second retention curve with buyers and non-buyers drawn as their own curves, the Pitch marker and conversion density on the same timeline.
  • Hook Rate, Hold Rate and Revenue per Play in the metrics catalogue, Live Stats refreshed every 10 seconds, and Sources that label a visit Unknown instead of guessing Direct, with bots filtered out.
  • Hot Leads scored 0 to 100 and Customer 360, one viewer's journey across visits.
  • Split tests of whole videos under one embed, decided on the sale your cart confirmed. A winner ships only after the minimum duration (7 days by default), the minimum sample and significance.
  • AI Optimize suggestions from your own retention data, workspaces per client and a public API.

Pricing (on the TrackPlay pricing page, September 2026): free forever with 3,000 plays a month and no card. Basic is $29 a month for 5,000 plays ($0.02 per extra play), Pro $79 for 15,000 ($0.01), Scale $199 for 50,000 ($0.01), custom above that. Annual billing saves 17%. The free plan is the trial. Overage is opt-in. With it off, videos pause at the quota instead of billing you.

The same $79 buys two different things. Vidalytics Pro is 5,000 plays a month, muted autoplays included, and 20 stored videos. TrackPlay Pro is 15,000 real viewing sessions, with the sale joined to each one.

Pros

  • One system from the first frame to the order: no thank-you script, no Zapier chain, no separate tracker.
  • The ad platform learns from buyers, server-side.
  • A bill you can forecast from your traffic, with overage only if you switch it on.

Cons

  • Built for selling with video, so there are no live events or webinars.

Consider it if you sell with video and want the ad account to learn from who bought. Start free: 3,000 plays a month, no card, or see the line-by-line comparison on Vidalytics vs TrackPlay.

2. vTurb: best for a VSL player billed on plays

vTurb is a Brazilian VSL player that sells the same promise Vidalytics does, with a lot of automatic testing built into the player. Its headline, autoplay and speed tests pick a variant for you once enough data comes in.

  • Best for: VSL sellers who want a plays meter and would rather let the player test than set tests up by hand.
  • Billed on: plays. Their FAQ: a play counts when someone clicks the video and starts watching.

Standout features

  • Headlines: automatic A/B testing of the headline above the video.
  • Smart Autoplay with overlay variants that are tested and narrowed to the winner.
  • A/B Test for whole videos, swapped without changing the embed code.

Pricing (on the vTurb plans page, October 2026, in US dollars on both its English and Portuguese pages): Basic is $29 a month for 2,000 plays, Pro $79 for 6,000 and Scale $299 for 30,000, each with $0.02 per extra play. Every plan has a 14-day trial capped at 3,000 plays; the FAQ says that if you use them all during the trial, your card is charged for the plan. Overage is always on: "Your VSLs will never go offline", and extra plays are billed at the end of the cycle.

Pros

  • A plays meter where a play is a click that starts the video.
  • Cart sales by webhook from more than 20 checkouts, Hotmart, Kiwify, ClickBank and Digistore24 among them, and a Live view of who is watching.
  • Automatic tests of headlines, autoplay overlays and speed.

Cons

  • Overage cannot be switched off; a traffic spike bills rather than pauses.
  • Fewer plays per dollar: Pro is 6,000 plays for $79, where TrackPlay Pro is 15,000.
  • Server-side conversion APIs to Meta, TikTok or GA4: not publicly stated.

Consider it if you like the Vidalytics toolkit, want the bill on plays, and trust auto-routing to pick winners.

3. Voomly: best for unlimited bandwidth on a flat fee

Voomly is the direct answer to a bandwidth meter: from its Plus plan up, videos and bandwidth are unlimited and the plans differ on cloud storage and extras. The higher plans bundle the Doodly and Toonly animation tools, so it suits a marketer who also makes the videos.

  • Best for: marketers who want a flat monthly fee and produce their own animated or explainer videos.
  • Billed on: plan tier and cloud storage. Bandwidth is unlimited from Plus.

Standout features

  • Unlimited videos and bandwidth from the $19 Plus plan.
  • Lead funnels, Sharegates and funnel chapters on every paid plan.
  • Doodly, Toonly, Talkia and more bundled from the $49 Cloud plan.

Pricing (on the Voomly pricing page, October 2026): Voomly Light is free for 5 videos, 250 GB of storage and 5 GB of bandwidth. Basic is $9 a month for 30 videos, 1 TB of storage and 20 GB of bandwidth, with analytics and heatmaps. Plus is $19 with unlimited videos and bandwidth and 2 TB of storage. Cloud ($49) and Pro ($79) add storage and the production suite. Yearly billing saves 16%, and there is a 14-day free trial.

Pros

  • No bandwidth bill from $19 a month.

Cons

  • Video split testing: not publicly stated.
  • Conversion tracking and cart postbacks: not publicly stated on the pricing page.

Consider it if a flat, low monthly fee is the whole point and you are not tracking sales from the player. The detail is on Voomly vs TrackPlay.

4. Spotlightr: best for protected course and funnel video

Spotlightr is a marketing and course video host that leads on security: HLS encryption against downloads is in its cheapest plan. It also carries the funnel basics, CTAs, in-video lead forms and heatmaps, and it is where VooPlayer customers now land, since vooplayer.com redirects to spotlightr.com.

  • Best for: course creators and funnel builders whose videos must not be ripped.
  • Billed on: videos, storage and monthly bandwidth.

Standout features

  • HLS encryption and domain embed protection from the Light plan.
  • Clickable CTAs and in-video lead capture forms.
  • CRM tags and tracking codes on Premium.

Pricing (on the Spotlightr pricing page, October 2026): Light is $13 a month for 25 videos, 200 GB of bandwidth a month and 50 GB of storage. Plus is $21 with no video limit, 600 GB and email gating. Premium is $55 with 2,000 GB, CRM tags, tracking codes and 5 team accounts. Scale is $163 with 6,000 GB. Every plan has a 14-day trial with no card.

Pros

  • No video limit from Plus, with 600 GB of bandwidth a month for $21.
  • Download protection on the cheapest plan.

Cons

  • Still a bandwidth meter.
  • Built around courses; VSL features like sound-on autoplay are not publicly stated.
  • Conversion tracking to the sale: not publicly stated.

Consider it if your videos sit behind a paywall or a funnel step and piracy worries you more than attribution.

5. Wistia: best for a B2B content library

Wistia is the general marketing video host Vidalytics compares itself against on its own site, and for some buyers it is the better fit.

  • Best for: B2B marketing teams whose conversion is a form fill passed to a CRM.
  • Billed on: plan tier, storage and users.

Standout features

  • CTAs and forms inside the player, with advanced analytics on Business.
  • The Automation Suite (Signals): lead capture, scoring and pipeline reporting in your marketing platform.
  • A/B tests of two videos; you pick the winner by hand.

Pricing (on the Wistia pricing page, October 2026): free for 25 GB of storage, 200 GB of bandwidth a month and 1 user, with Wistia branding. Business is $99 a month billed monthly ($79 billed annually) with 250 GB+ of storage, 1 TB of bandwidth a month and 3+ users. Business + Signals is $412 a month ($329 billed annually). Enterprise is priced on request.

Pros

  • Per-viewer heatmaps and a customizable player on Business.

Cons

  • The most expensive entry plan here, and CRM automation costs over four times as much.
  • A/B test results show "average engagement, play rate, total plays" and actions, and you declare the winner yourself, per Wistia's help article on A/B testing. Revenue is not in that list.
  • No VSL-specific playback features like sound-on autoplay.

Consider it if your videos are content marketing and the lead is the goal. The detail is on Wistia vs TrackPlay.

6. SproutVideo: best for white-label hosting with bundled bandwidth

SproutVideo is a general business host with a white-label player, landing pages and a marketing suite. It meters storage and bandwidth, bundles a generous amount of both, and never caps usage.

  • Best for: businesses that want private, branded hosting and a predictable bandwidth allowance.
  • Billed on: storage and bandwidth, with seats per plan.

Standout features

  • Lead capture, in-player calls to action and CRM integrations on every plan.
  • Heatmaps and viewer tracking.
  • Dynamic watermarks and signed embeds on Tree, geo and IP rules on Forest.

Pricing (on the SproutVideo pricing page, October 2026): billed monthly, Seed is $15 a month with 150 GB of storage and bandwidth, Sprout $45 with 400 GB, Tree $95 with 1 TB and Forest $295 with 2 TB. Extra bandwidth or storage costs $0.25 per GB on Seed, down to $0.06 on Forest. There is a 30-day free trial with no card.

Pros

  • No usage caps: extra storage or bandwidth bills per GB, from $0.25 on Seed down to $0.06 on Forest.

Cons

  • A general host: sound-on autoplay and VSL progress bars are not publicly stated.
  • Split testing and sale attribution: not publicly stated.

Consider it if you want branded, private hosting with bandwidth bundled in and do not need a VSL-specific player.

7. Bunny Stream: best for raw delivery at the lowest cost

Bunny Stream is video infrastructure: upload, transcoding, storage, a CDN and a basic player, billed on what you use.

  • Best for: developers and teams willing to build the marketing layer themselves.
  • Billed on: storage and CDN traffic, per GB.

Standout features

  • Free encoding, with no per-minute transcoding fee.
  • A free player and security features at no extra charge.
  • A global network with regions you can switch on and off to control cost.

Pricing (on the Bunny Stream pricing page, October 2026): encoding is free, storage starts at $0.01 per GB and CDN delivery at $0.005 per GB, with a $1 monthly minimum. There is a 14-day free trial with no card.

Pros

  • Delivery from $0.005 per GB, the lowest unit cost on this list.

Cons

  • No VSL features: CTAs, gates, sound-on autoplay and sale tracking are not publicly stated.
  • Analytics and attribution are yours to build.

Consider it if you have developers, want the lowest delivery cost, and will build the player logic and tracking on top.

How to switch from Vidalytics

Nothing here needs the Vidalytics account closed first, and the order matters more than the speed.

Illustration: two old frames each pointing by an arrow to a new frame with a play button, above icons for upload, code, a plug and a calendar
Page by page: the old embed out and the new one in, then upload, embed code, the cart connection and a week of both running.
  1. Get your original files. Use the master file if you have it. If not, Vidalytics lets you download any video from its Vid Settings page, as its help center describes. Export any analytics you want to keep before you cancel.
  2. Swap the embed code. Upload the video to the new host and replace the Vidalytics embed page by page, starting with the page that gets the most paid traffic.
  3. Rebuild CTAs, gates and timers at the same seconds. Calls to action, play gates, exit thumbnails and countdowns live in the Vidalytics player, not in the file, so they do not travel. Write down each one's timing before you switch.
  4. Move pixels to watch-time events. Fire the ad pixel when a viewer reaches the moment that matters, and send the same event server-side so the ad platform still sees it when the browser blocks the pixel. The guide to sending watch time to Meta covers which moments to send.
  5. Connect the cart postback, then retire the thank-you script. If the new host reads orders from your cart, point the postback at it so each sale lands on its viewing session. Leave the old conversion script on the thank-you page until the comparison below is done.
  6. Run both for a full week. Keep the Vidalytics embed on a share of pages until the new one has run a full week on the same traffic, so you compare conversion rates before you cancel.

Which Vidalytics alternative is best?

If you sell with video, the best Vidalytics alternative is TrackPlay. It keeps the playback toolkit you already use and adds what none of the others publicly state: server-side events to Meta, TikTok and GA4 with dedup. Around that come the cart sale joined to the viewing session and its ad click ids, split tests that ship their winner on sales, and a bill on real plays. The rest of the list fits narrower jobs:

  • vTurb: if you sell through Brazilian checkouts, want a plays meter, and server-side events to the ad platforms are not on your list.
  • Voomly: if bandwidth is the whole complaint and you want a flat fee with a production suite.
  • Spotlightr: if the videos are paid courses and download protection comes first.
  • Wistia: if the videos are B2B content and a form fill in your CRM is the conversion.
  • SproutVideo: if you want branded, private hosting with a large bundled bandwidth allowance.
  • Bunny Stream: if you have developers and only need cheap, fast delivery.

Start with your best-performing VSL. The free plan covers 3,000 plays a month with no card, which is enough to see where viewers drop and which of them bought. Create your free account. For the wider picture, read what VSL hosting is and what makes a good VSL video player.

FAQ

Questions about Vidalytics alternatives

What is the best Vidalytics alternative?

For anyone selling with video, TrackPlay. It combines hosting, a conversion player, the cart sale joined to the viewing session, server-side Meta, TikTok and GA4 events and analytics that know who bought, billed on real viewing sessions only. Narrower options: for a plays-based VSL player with auto-tested playback features, vTurb; for unlimited bandwidth on a flat fee, Voomly; for download-protected course video, Spotlightr; for a B2B content library, Wistia; for bundled bandwidth, SproutVideo; for raw delivery, Bunny Stream.

Which Vidalytics plan includes conversion tracking?

The Vidalytics pricing page lists Conversions from the Pro plan up, at $79 a month billed monthly. Their help center is split: one article says conversion tracking is on any paid plan, another says it is not on Free or Starter and needs Pro or above. Heatmaps, audience segmentation and Experiments (A/B testing) are also listed from Pro.

How much does Vidalytics charge for extra plays?

$0.02 per play on Starter, Pro and Premium, with Enterprise priced on request. Extra videos beyond the plan's allowance are $0.25 each. The pricing page says your content will not be shut off automatically, so usage above the plan is billed rather than paused. Vidalytics moved from bandwidth to plays in 2026, and some of its help-center articles still show the old gigabyte plans.

Vidalytics vs vTurb: what is the difference?

Both meter plays now, and both charge $0.02 per extra play. Vidalytics Pro is $79 a month for 5,000 plays and 20 stored videos, and it counts a muted autoplay as a play. vTurb Pro is $79 a month for 6,000 plays, and a play is a click that starts the video. vTurb also takes cart sales by webhook from more than 20 checkouts. Both sell a VSL playback toolkit with Smart Autoplay, a progress bar built for sales video, CTAs and A/B testing.

Which Vidalytics alternatives do not count muted autoplay as a play?

TrackPlay: a play needs a press of play, an unmute or a resume, bots are excluded, and overage is opt-in, so with it off videos pause at the quota. vTurb counts a play when someone clicks the video and starts watching. Voomly does not meter plays at all: from its $19 Plus plan, videos and bandwidth are unlimited and it meters storage.

Is there a free Vidalytics alternative?

TrackPlay is free forever for 3,000 plays a month with no card. Voomly Light is free for 5 videos and 5 GB of bandwidth. vTurb, Spotlightr, SproutVideo and Bunny Stream offer free trials instead of a free plan. Vidalytics itself has a free plan with 3 videos and 1,000 plays, without conversion tracking.

Does Vidalytics send conversions to TikTok or to Meta server-side?

TikTok is not on the Vidalytics integrations page, and a server-side Meta Conversions API is not publicly stated. Their Facebook integration creates audiences from video events. TrackPlay sends watch-time events and sales server-side to the Meta Conversions API, the TikTok Events API and GA4 Measurement Protocol, with event-id dedup.

How do I move my videos off Vidalytics?

Download each original from its Vid Settings page in Vidalytics, as their help center describes, or use the master file you already have. Upload it to the new host, swap the embed code page by page, rebuild the CTAs and gates at the same seconds, and keep the Vidalytics embed live until the new one has run a full week.

What happened to VooPlayer?

On 29 September 2026, vooplayer.com redirected to spotlightr.com. Spotlightr's plans start at $13 a month for 25 videos and 200 GB of bandwidth, with a 14-day trial.

Do bots count against a bandwidth meter?

On a bandwidth meter, every stream that loads uses gigabytes, whoever or whatever loaded it. Imperva's Bad Bot Report puts automated traffic at more than half of all web traffic. A plays meter that excludes bots and muted autoplay charges only for real viewing sessions.
